DP

Bo spoke with a lady at a grocery in Osaga City, KS today. She said she talked to a young lady two days ago riding to Wisconsin – by the description there's no doubt it was Lindsay. This makes us all happy to know she's doing well – you go girl!

Two days ahead due to eight and nine hours in the saddle everyday – well, she does want to get there ASAP – not a vacation for her – wow!!

Oh yeah – biggest hills yet – or at least the steepest.

64 miles today – hot in the afternoon – big hills – steeper yet – dead armadillo on the road, camping at Louisburg – Middle Creek State Fishing Lake, KS, a lake south of Louisburg, KS. The town had nothing in the way of motels or anything, but this area is free. No H2O though – just outhouse-styled restrooms. Four miles from the Missouri border – we'll make Clinton, MO tomorrow – the head of the Katy Trail – crashing early – starting early to beat the heat.
