Tour de COhio
June 25th - Mattoon, IL to Terre Haute, IN
Day 21 - June 25th, 2005
Camping at KOA in Terre Haute, Indiana. Nice showers – stinking hot – 100° and high humidity – can't buy a breeze! Big Goot staying at a Holiday Inn – meeting him in A.M. at the junction of Routes 46 and 40. Change of routes due to info about Route 46 East being very hilly – oh, well, no Hoosier National Forest, but we'd rather have a flatter road in this heat. And besides, the hills might actually add a day on to the trip (something I know the other guys don't want). I just don't want to pull any major hills.
So we should get through Indianapolis tomorrow, and then when we get near Ohio, we'll shoot toward Xenia in order to pickup the bike trail to London, Ohio – well, back to sitting and sweating.

P.S. Tire blew up on my rear – flat #9 – oh, yeah, I also had a flat early this morning – that's five for me and four for Goot – when my tire blew, I had to get a ride from a guy in a pickup to Terre Haute (20 miles or so) to a bike shop for a new tire and extra tube.
